Hello my gazelles, I hope you’re all doing well.

If you have been following me for years or even for months then you probably already know that am absolutely obsessed with Inglot cosmetics.

About three months ago I was lucky enough to receive an invitation from Inglot to attend the private event before the official store opening in #Newcastle @eldonsquare

Inglot planned two separate events, one of them was a masterclass hosted in the Sandman hotel. It was very well organized and we got to see different makeup looks done by different MUAs, and have honestly learned so much from them. They were very professional and each one had a different unique style of doing makeup, which I loved! By the end of the masterclass, we had some time to socialize, meet all the bloggers and beauty influencers as well as meeting the Inglot family. The event was unforgettable and so is the amazing goody bag. It was packed with products, no joke!

Don’t worry,  I am preparing a separate post about my favorite Inglot products including tips and tricks on how to use them in multiple ways.

The second event was a private pre-launch party where we got to see the store before everyone else. Of course, there was music, drinks, and some delicious cupcaaaakes !

The main highlight was meeting the one and only @janeinglot and her lovely family. I can’t describe to you how down to earth and a fun company they were.  I obviously had to take some selfies with them, which you’ll see down below.

Best Cafes in Newcastle upon Tyne

Hello everyone, I hope you’re doing well. Today we’re going to talk about coffee, and you know how much I love me a good cup of coffee. Newcastle now has a good range of local independent cafes, serving coffee in every imaginable style. So here is some of my top picks.

  •  Di Marco/ Antico

IMG_6379 2

Antico, previously called Di Marco is a very small Italian cafe bar. They make the perfect foamy Italian cappuccino, and I am obsessed with their iced coffee. The staff are very bubbly and always smiling. Thier customer service is outstanding and they’ll always come to your table to make sure your coffee is up to standards.

Address: 93 Grey St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 6EG

  • Osbourne coffee co ( OCC )

If you’re ever in town shopping, specifically at  Fenwicks or even passing by and want a quick caffeine pick-me-up, then I highly suggest trying OCC. The coffee tastes delicious but it can be a bit strong if you’re not used to it.

  • Camber Coffee

All I can is that I loooooove camber coffee, they provide different dairy-free options, and you will never need an extra shot. Beside of the quality of the coffee, I have to mention that the staff is very friendly and smiley.

  • Pink Lane

Feeling like doing work while being surrounded by some pink walls and a very Instagrammable vibe? then this place is for you. The location is good and they also provide vegan options.

  • Deiji Cafe

Very relaxing and different, that’s how I can describe Deiji, I think by far they’re the only cafe that does the Insta-famous, Smurf latte as well as the matcha latte and the blooming tea. Definitely worth a try, very sweet staff and they provide a student discount.

Address: 16 Saville St W, Newcastle upon Tyne NE29 6QT

  • Laneway&Co

Once again, a great coffee, very calm atmosphere which makes it very suitable for students or if you just want to meet someone and talk in peace hehe. The artwork they have on the walls is a great addition to the cafe.

  • Navaho

My favorite thing about Navaho cafe is that they make a beautiful rose petal coffee, that tastes as good as it looks and they also make pancakes for breakfast, yummy!

Côte’s taste of Paris in Newcastle

French inspired dining , Côte Brasserie in  Grainger Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Hello my gazelle’s I hope you’re all doing well,

You don’t know how excited I am to share with you what I call a breakfast heaven!
I can now officially say that I have found the perfect place for the perfect delicious breakfast.
While I was out in the morning running errands with mama, I looked at her and came out with the best idea ever and said ‘ Mama can I take you to have a  breakfast at Côte ? She obviously couldn’t say no hehe.

We made our way to Côte and  from the moment we entered the place we’ve received the best service ever, I was happy and mama was smiling.

W’ve been asked where we would like to sit and picked a nice table near the window. By the time we decided what we wanted to eat, Adam came and took our orders.

What’s on the breakfast menu?

They had so many options from pastries, to salmon, avocados, to French toast and cooked breakfasts like sausages and beans, pretty much anything that your heart and mouth desires.

I asked him if they made almond milk cappuccino and he replied saying they only had soy milk so I asked for a juice.

Mama got salmon and poached egg with some brown toast and camomile tea، and I ended up ordering French toast, and a glass of fresh orange juice.

 Star of Côte:

I can’t describe how artistic and kind Adam was, from the moment he came to take our order, me and him started chatting and we got a long pretty well, he made such effort to surprise me with a cappuccino beside that he left the place to go buy almond milk. Love him !

Oh yeah he brought the cappuccino and he was like : it’s on us !

I really enjoyed the whole experience, food was very tasty, cappuccino was perfect and I can tell that it has been made with love, the juice was absolutely delicious. The French toast was nice and crunchy from the outside and very fluffy and soft from the inside.       I also asked mama about her opinion and she said that I’ve picked the right place

( believe me it’s kind of hard for me to take mama for food, she tarveled to more than 25 countries and visited the best hotels and food places, seeing her pleased with the food is such a big achievement)

I even gave my dad a call to come a along with my little sister and come to join us. They ended up coming and they enjoyed their breakfast too.

To me everything was great, and the location itself couldn’t be more central and perfect, and both of the atmosphere and decor were stunning.

Will I go back ?

I will definitely go back again to try their cooked food for lunch/dinner, but so far am very satisfied for what I had as a first experience at Côte. to be fair I can keep going and going on how much I loved and enjoyed everything.

Liz Earle Treatment / John Lewis

Hello, everyone, I hope you are doing well.
I’m very excited to start sharing my experiences with all of you, some may already know me from my Arabic blog.

If you would like to know more about me feel free to visit The About page.
Today am going to talk to you about the lovely facial treatment I had with Liz Earle, based in John Lewis Newcastle.

When arriving to Liz Earle’s stand I felt very comfortable, the staff were very welcoming. I was taken to wait near the beauty rooms. Then I was brought a cold glass of water and I was left to read a magazine while waiting.
I think I’ve waited for a maximum 5 minutes until Alexandra came. She was the beautician doing my treatment.

Alex was lovely friendly and very smiley.

Alex walked me to my designated therapy room and we had a lovely conversation. On arrival, she offered to take my jacket and I followed by taking my shoes and jewellery off to start and be ready for the treatment!

I was asked to close my eyes and relax then Alexandra gently explained what will she start with; which was the perfume testing (my personal fave). She was running different perfume testers so I can pick the one I liked the most.

She spoke very quietly while asking me about my thoughts towards every scent and what it reminded me of until I picked my favourite one.

After picking my favourite scent I laid down, listening to very soothing music. I found the music to be extremely relaxing and complimented the chosen perfumed aroma.

Now the fun part began! I think she cleansed my skin and applied different masks.

She’s been using the famous Liz Earle cotton cloth throughout the whole treatment process.

The pure cotton cloth is meant to cleanse your skin while gently removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin feeling clean smooth and looking glowy.

Last but not least, she gave me a quick massage, including arms and shoulders. She also did something with my hair haha. All I can say that it was so relaxing but, to be honest, I had no idea what she’s done lol I think that was her secret move.

We finished the arm/hand massage with spraying some of the perfume I picked earlier. She massaged it into my skin and honestly, I could smell it for the rest of day! Even though it was a perfume only, it felt like a very long lasting essential oil.

At the end of the session, I felt so relaxed. I think that Alex managed to get rid of all the negative energy I had, and no am not being cheesy I actually felt the difference and I’m definitely gonna come back for more treatments.

Before we say bye, I want to thank Rachel and Kimberly (the manager of the Liz Earle concession) who offered me this beautiful complimentary beauty treatment that I absolutely loved and enjoyed.

I’m all about an excellent customer service and I can guarantee that you will be treated as a special individual if you visit them in John Lewis, Eldon Square.

Yalla Bye Bye my beautiful Gazelles 🦌
